A very unusual friday
So classes are over and right now I'm just studying for finals next week (good times?)...anyway, today at the radio station we played host to a world renowned radio theater company. A lot of the players are former alumni of the radio station. It was really cool though, they held a mic placement workshop. There were about 9 microphones and everyone was invited to come up and try them all. A lot of the alumni were really cool people. It was really weird talking to them considering they were in my shoes only about 10 years earlier. They were all surprised to see how the place has changed since they were here. I do a show called Studio South, its a radio magazine show every Friday. This weeks episode was a holiday theme, so i decided to make a musical montage on great Christmas music, so that was pretty cool.

The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas
To start off with, I was about 20 minutes early and I spent the first 10 minutes of it in the main lobby of the theater as people walked in to claim their popcorn and candy before they headed toward their respective viewing room to begin their 2 hour journey into a world different from their own. Eventually i headed into my theater and watched the one preview that this film had. To keep it short Leonardo Di Caprio and Kate Winslett are doing another movie for some reason. Anyway the one thing you should know about this film is that its very depressing at certain parts. One good thing I can say is that the film is also very inspiring in the sense that a small child can defy the norm and make friends with someone who his family has tried to make the child hate. I deff recommend you check it out. Heres the trailer for anyone whose interested.
So after the film was done i headed to the mall that was right next door...especially considering that my ride back to school was the shuttle bus that wasnt gonna come around for another 45 minutes. Heres the thing about malls, there are so many stores (duh its a mall) but you walk in and especially around holiday time, every store is packed beyong belief! it makes you not wanna buy anything. I did end up heading to dylans candy bar and scoring some really good chocolate so all and all it was a good day.
And finally on a really good side note, I'm officially finished with all work for the fall semester!

People are really lazy
So for one of my final papers of the fall 08 semester the professor has us going out to watch movies in which he has chosen. I figured I'd check out "The Boy In The Stripped Pajamas" I had heard it was a good movie but also kinda sad. Big problem is I don't. Anyone i ask to go is either lazy and doesn't wanna go or is broke, and in most situations, both. If i dont see this movie I'm prob gonna fail....greeeeeat!
How can I bullshit a paper on a movie I've never seen?

My First Post
So I'm new to this whole blogging thing. I have friends at my college radio station who do it so i figured I'd try it out. I assume this is where an intro is in order? OK then i'll try to do this as simple as possible...

I guess thats pretty basic, i always say its probably not a good idea to reveal TO much about yourself on the internet.
So today's Saturday and usually like a normal college student I should probably be getting ready to go to a frat party or some bar where the drinks are cheap and so are the girls. Its a typical boring night though, there's not much going on. I've resorted to doing something students usually don't bother doing on a saturday night...that's right actual work! I've got about a dozen papers due on shat that i could care less about and on top of that I have to go watch some movie so that I can write a paper on that! unfair right?
I'm not gonna lie though, do you know when your listening to your itunes and you quit the program but it says "are you sure you want to quit iTunes, there are 1 or more persons subscribing to your playlist". On the one hand its kinda cool that people are appreciating your music, but at the same time i just wanna quit!haha. I still havent really figured out how im going to use this blog, but i guess i can use it as most do and just blog on the daily happenings of my life, which i guess sounds like i have a huge ego, but rest assured i don't! If you have any suggestions feel free to lay them on me.
